Luksa Lodge is a fantastic place for a large family (we were 12 adults). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There was lots of space for everyone. The dining room easily held all of us at one table. The property is private and pretty. The local stores had everything we needed. Josh was amazing. Very quick to respond to questions and proactively reached out from pre to post visit. I highly recommend this wonderful lodge.

This cottage is very spacious and a great place for vacations. Away from the hustle bustle. A private nook of your own with a private waterfront. The cottage is huge with spacious bedrooms & 2.5 well equipped washrooms. The kitchen is a fully stacked one with lots of utensils, pots & pans for all your cooking needs. The host Joshua is friendly, good & prompt in responding to our queries. We were a group of 16 and we enjoyed every moment of the stay. Strongly recommend for large families & groups.

We were a large group of 10 people and did not feel in any way lacking in space and comfort. The large back deck was great. The enclosed screen area was so relaxing when a bit of rain showed up mid afternoon. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with everything you need for cooking. The lake was great for fishing. We were able to launch our boats from the onsite boat launch and dock our boats on a very spacious dock. we truly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend Luksa Lodge. Enjoy!

Josh’s cottage was the perfect place for our annual cottage trip, it came with everything we needed, it was spacious, clean, had plenty of parking and was a beautiful property. Josh was an absolutely solid host and was always responsive, understanding and polite. If you’re looking for a solid cottage for your family/friends this is the place to go, I highly recommend it.

Amazing cottage, very cozy, very peaceful. Spent a long weekend here with friends and didn’t want to leave!! The local shops really have everything you could need/want in terms of groceries – and more! We did a small hike in the area, which was nice. Also enjoyed the kayak/paddle boards on the lake.

Josh is a great host, answered all my questions very quickly and was very helpful in suggesting things that would make our trip more enjoyable. We came for a sledding trip and the location was perfect, minutes to fuel and many different trail access points. Josh helped us out there too by recommending trails that were great to ride on. The cottage was perfect for our purposes. Lots of bedrooms, very clean and warm, fully stocked kitchen and good size living/tv room so we could sit after making dinner and have a few drinks together. Often times with larger groups you have to make compromises to accommodate everyone. This could be in location, comfort, price etc… With this rental we simply didn’t have to.

We rang in the new year altogether as a family. The lodge was perfect for the size of our group there was plenty of space to spread out or all be together. We are together, played games and went for long walks ! Deer were spotted as well as bald eagles and owls! I highly recommend this property!

We loved our time here! The place was beautiful and perfect, and Josh was a fantastic host! Always so quick to respond and very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Had a great weekend with the family at Joshua’s place. The cottage was clean and exactly how it looked in the photos, very cozy and had lots of space in the backyard. Joshua was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Joshua was an excellent host – his lodge is very clean, beautiful and the perfect retreat at the lake! He is great at communicating and accommodating to ensure you have an excellent stay. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

We were 8 adults (2 of which are elderly), 2 toddlers and 2 infants – the place had more then enough room for us all and was accessible enough for our elderly couple. Beautiful space – we loved the Muskoka Room! We made use of the water toys and tried out paddle boarding as well. Much time was also spent by the fire pit and the stargazing was unbelievable on clear nights. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing place! This is the second time my family and I have stayed at The Luksa Lodge and I can not recommend this place enough! Beautiful cottage, very clean, up to date, and has tons of space for everyone. It’s in an amazing location with great views from the dock with lots of toys for water activities. Josh is absolutely amazing, super nice, and has great communication and quick response times. I can’t wait for the next time we stay at this cottage!!

No doubt, we had a wonderful weekend at the Luksa Lodge! Joshua thanks for give us an opportunity to spent some memorable time at your cottage, a great place for the getaway. We had found cottage clean, with all the amenities as described. We had tried our best, and left the cottage clean for the next guests. Upon arrival, had supper, Kayaking, fishing, and dinner around the bonfire. Next morning, we boat in the lake for hours before the breakfast, and again in the afternoon. Had BBQ in the evening, found a spare full propane in the garage (thanks Joshua). Took lots of photos inside and around the cottage, hope they are going to stay with us for many many years. Like always, the stayvacations were too short. Next time we will go for at least a week. Explore surrounding and spend more time in the cottage. Five stars to Luska cottage, definitely recommend other families & friends.

Joshua was an absolutely amazing host. Very responsive and very helpful with things around the property and activity suggestions. What an amazing property. The view and water are beautiful. Perfect location close to everything you need! Great for kids as ours loved it! Beach and dock were so nice to hang out on. Well-stocked water shed with lots of gear. Muskoka room and netted gazebo were game changers for enjoying outside without bugs in the evening! With fans in basically every room, it was actually quite cool in the house while it was scorching hot outside. And tons of space for big groups. Kitchen WELL stocked…. HIGHLY recommend this property to bigger groups!

5 stars and 2 thumbs up! Josh’s cottage is absolutely perfect. Josh is an excellent host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. The photos do no justice. The cottage was clean and very spacious and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Our group of 16 and 2 dogs had plenty of room. We loved hanging out on the beach and dock area – also loved the convenience of the boat launch on site! It was a quick drive to town as well as Restoule Provincial Park where we took advantage of hiking the Fire Tower Trail followed by the park’s public beach. Thanks again for everything Josh. Your cottage rocks!

Our family had a wonderful time at The Luksa Lodge! We went up for a family getaway – there were 9 adults, 6 kids, and 2 dogs – and the space fit us all comfortably and was large enough for us all to have space and not be piled on top of each other. My 2 nephews loved bunking together in the small ‘closet’ bedroom – they thought it was so cool, it was like a little fort for them! We spent most of our time out on the water – kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding (all provided). Lots of my nieces and nephews’ first time kayaking and paddle boarding and they loved it! It was such a great experience and memory for them to make. The nights by the campfire making s’mores and pie irons, watching the sunsets – I wish I could share the photos we got on here! Beautiful sunsets! We also spent time hiking at Restoule Provincial Park, just a short 15-minute drive away. The views from Fire Tower Trail are WELL worth the short drive and hike up to the lookout. One of the evenings a thunderstorm rolled in over the lake and we had front-row seats outside on the covered/screened-in porch to watch the storm roll through. We are looking forward to returning again in the future!

We will definitely keep this space in mind for future weekend trips.

2nd year going to Joshua’s property great response time on messages. Beautiful property highly recommend a stay here winter or summer!

Amazing place to stay beautiful property.

Joshua was great, any questions, he answered right away. Hydro flickered a few times and he called to make sure we were ok. The property was just beautiful, perfect for a large family. The lake was frozen, we snowshoed, skated, skied, tobogganed and ice-fished. Always had a fire going outside. Couldn’t ask for a better winter getaway!!! Will definitely return.

First off, Joshua is beyond a super host. I had the pleasure of speaking with him directly. What a pleasant conversation we had and all of his help was amazing. Second, these photos don’t do The Lodge justice. It is way more gorgeous in person and really a paradise. My group and I did not want to leave. It was extremely homey and cozy. Endless amounts of space, we were a group of 10 adults and still had room to spare. Third, we went up for Halloween weekend and what a great time we had. Perfect place made for a fun gathering, costumes and all. Once again thank you so much Joshua for everything. What a beautiful cottage you have and I will definitely book again. Looking forward to being a repeat guest of yours. Thank you times infinity. 5 out of 5.

The Luksa Lodge is even more impressive than the pictures. It exudes warmth and comfort and invites you to experience a wonderful stay. It is spacious for a larger gathering, with all the amenities you could want! Joshua is a great host, so communicative and responsive! We are so happy to have been able to spend this week at The Luksa Lodge!

The place is AMAZING. First of all, the pictures do not do justice to the cottage and its surroundings. The house is enormously spacious. There are three excellent bedrooms for adults and 3+1 bedrooms on a separate top floor which are GREAT for kids (so that they can be left to their devices (literally or not)). There is also a cozy loft with a big-screen TV and some spots to crash overnight. Then, there is the waterfront. Fantastic dock, and a good shoreline. We had the best fishing from a shore at a cottage ever – lots of catfish, btw. Very private. You can’t see any neighbours to the East, and neighbours to the West were very friendly and we only saw them on the dock / from the dock. The property is very private. The lake is yours to explore. Got a boat? Bring it, you can launch it directly from the property! All the amenities are there. The cottage was spotless, and I am usually just a bit picky on that front. Having a reliable unlimited connection was critical for me. I was able to work from a loft, where the owner has two monitors for you to hook up, super convenient. Two huge fridges to store all your food and drinks. All the kitchen stuff is there. The Restoule area is just gorgeous. The wildlife is abundant: tiny squirrels, XXL bunnies, chipmunks, deer, beavers, and blue herons. So many birds and endless twittering all around – music to my ears! 5 mins ride to a friendly corner store with all the necessities (LCBO outlet included), 15 mins drive to the beautiful Restoule Provincial Park, 3 mins to a garbage disposal site (make sure to use the card for it and return it to the fridge), 5 mins to a snowmobile/quad trail. Joshua, the host, was super quick to respond to a few queries our group had, and is a very nice person. We felt lucky, privileged and pampered to be at his place. Thank you so much, Joshua! Hands down, the best cottage I’ve ever been to. Literally, nothing to complain about. A gem. 11 stars out of 10.
