In 2018, The Luksa Lodge began as a personal cottage for our family to enjoy the great Canadian outdoors and get away from the busy city. Watching our children grow here through the years, we’ve recognized just how rewarding the community of Restoule is. With serenity and adventure found in abundance in Restoule, we dreamed of a collection of vacation cottages so other families could enjoy this slice of paradise we stumbled on.

You couldn’t ask for a more peaceful solitude than what you’ll find at The Luksa Lodge. With enchanting woods and  private beach access, you’ll rediscover the importance of peace and quiet. There is no highway cutting through the community, so vehicle traffic is limited to those seeking to enjoy the lakes and provincial parks. 


But that isn’t all the area has to offer. For adventure-seekers, Restoule has access to the premium D102C snowmobile trail and the beautiful Restoule National Park. Enjoy your watercraft on the lakes, swim to your heart’s content, or use one of the provided canoes to explore one of the many nearby watering holes.

If you are looking for the perfect secluded fishing hole, look no further than The Luksa Lodge. With access to both Commanda and Restoule Lakes, you can fish year-round for pike, bass, catfish and more– even through the ice!

Whether you are stocking up at Gerry’s General Store, launching a boat from our private shoreline, or hitting the D102C Snowmobile Trail in winter, our lodge offers unparalleled proximity to the best landmarks in the Parry Sound District.

While your luxury cottage acreage is private, the community of Restoule and the surrounding families are the warmest and most inviting people you’ll ever meet. You’ll often find them at the Restoule Legion partaking in community events and gatherings. There is a real sense of pride and vitality in the area, as everyone is here to enjoy the natural beauty of Restoule.

The trails and surrounding forest were beautiful. The waterfront was perfect with a little sandy beach for the kids to play at, and plenty of chairs to lounge on the dock or the deck and relax and enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the quiet and serene lake.

The lodge was perfect for the size of our group there was plenty of space to spread out or all be together. We ate together, played games and went for long walks ! Deer were spotted as well as bald eagles and owls! I highly recommend this property!

Its size and different spaces allowed our group to enjoy each other’s company while taking some quiet moments for ourselves. Its location is far enough away from “every day” that it allows you to disconnect but is close enough for a short drive to Gerry’s general store...

The cottage was perfect for our purposes. Lots of bedrooms, very clean and warm, fully stocked kitchen and good size living/tv room so we could sit after making dinner and have a few drinks together.

It is way more gorgeous in person and really a paradise. My group and I did not want to leave. It was extremely homey and cozy. Endless amounts of space, we were a group of 10 adults and still had room to spare.

The kitchen was perfectly stocked, and the location was very remote/quiet while also being close enough to town for any last minute shopping needs. We made memories here that we will never forget, and I would highly recommend this beautiful home!

The lake was frozen, we snowshoed, skated, skied, tobogganed and ice-fished. Always had a fire going outside. Couldn’t ask for a better winter getaway!!! Will definitely return.
